ADVENTURE HIKING

How close-up do you want to get to Rabaul's volcanoes?  We have guides who will take you on the hike up Mt. Tavurvur so you can see ash and solidified lava and smell the Sulphur and other gases forced up from the magna far below.  You can look back at Matupit Island and devastated areas and beyond it to Rabaul town. Or our guide will lead you up Kombiu for unrivaled views across volcanoes, the mighty caldera harbor, the St. George's Channel, and land and sea

ISLAND BOAT TOURS

In one direction, the Duke of York Islands and Pigeon Islands, in the other direction, the lesser known Watom Island.  Access to both is by boat, commonly, "banana boat" - open 23-26ft (7-8 metre) boats powered by 40-60hp outboard motors.  Our guides will combine Islanders to take you to the best spots for sightseeing, photography, snorkelling, or simply relaxing and seeing the islanders' way of life.
